Produce Staff for Established Local Grocer

The Natural Grocer is a local fresh foods market offering a carefully curated selection of provisions, organic & local produce, and prepared foods. Since 1997, we've provided the local community with best-quality local and regional products, top-quality foods made in-house, and environmentally conscious provisions. We are looking to add a Produce Staff Member to our roster, who will be responsible for preparing and coordinating retail produce operations during the day. This includes receiving and processing of deliveries, setup and maintenance of the produce set on the retail floor and working with other team members to provide top-notch customer service to our devoted clientele. The position requires someone with a high level of organizational skills, familiarity with produce handling and storage, effective and cooperative communication skills, ability to lift 20-50 lb. during the day, and understanding of safe food handling practices. Experience preferred, however an enthusiasm for learning about produce and merchandising will be equally weighed.
