Gibbet Hill Farm (www.gibbethillfarm.com) is a 1.5 acre, minimal-till diversified organic farm located in Groton, MA. Our farm is part of the Webber Restaurant Group, an independant family-owned restaurant group. We are primarily dedicated to suppling produce to the chefs of our restaurants. Due to the abundant productivity of the farm we were able to add a CSA component a few seasons ago. In addition, the farm hosts five to six farm-to-table dinners on site each season along with an annual fall festival.
We farm a mix of vegetables, herbs, perennial fruit trees, microgreens, edible & cut flowers, along with a small herd of lambs and pigs. This will be our seventh season using a minimal-till system and organic practices.
The two crew members will work with the farm manager and assistant manager on all aspects of field and greenhouse work, including field preperation, seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting, and washing & packing. Crew members will also occasionally make restaurant deliveries and help with livestock chores.
All members of the farm are encouraged to harvest produce for personal use outside of work hours and additionally there is a free staff meal servede everday at the onsite restaurant at 3pm.
