The field crew position requires a strong willed and bodied person willing to work outside in all weather conditions. This position is involved in all aspects of growing and harvesting vegetables. Farmers market duties may be required on a rotating basis.
The work schedule is a 5 day work week, 7-9 hour days. Being part of the weekend rotation is a requirement so the days off will fluctuate.
Positions start mid April through June 1 and run through the end of October. Preference is given to those candidates willing to commit to the entire season. There is a potential for winter employment for the right individual.
Prior vegetable growing, and/or tractor experience is a plus but not required for the right individual. Pay rate is from $9-11/hour depending on experience level. Housing may be available for some candidates.
