Vegetable Notes Newsletter

An eight-page newsletter for commercial vegetable growers and market gardeners, published weekly during the growing season and periodically during the winter months. From May to September each issue features timely, field-based alerts and articles on management of crops, weeds, insects and diseases, fertility, soils, and cover crops. We focus on Integrated Pest Management for both conventional and organic systems, alternative crops and cropping systems, season extension, and post-harvest handling. Sweet corn trap captures for Massachusetts are reported weekly. Calendar updates include twilight meetings and field days throughout New England.

Winter editions of Vegetable Notes provide research reports and articles as well as announcements of conferences and educational programs in the region.

Vegetable Notes is now only available in the email edition, which is free of charge. Subscribe online at www.umassvegetable.org.
