Value Added Producer Grants and REAP (Rural Energy for America Program) Grants

VAPG (Value Added Producer Grants)  is designed to help agricultural producers engage in value added activities related to the processing and/or marketing of bio-based products.  The program can help expand markets for and increase financial returns to the agricultural producer-owners.  Grants may be used for planning activities or working capital for marketing value added agricultural products and for farm based renewable energy.

The grant application process is based on an annual competition.

REAP (Rural Energy for America Program) is a grant and guaranteed loan program which funds up to 25% of total eligible project costs for eligible renewable and energy efficiency technologies.  The application process is based on an annual competition.
