Hiring Farmer/Farm Couple Ipswich, MA housing provided

Seeking a farmer or farm couple to run a 40 acre farm in Ipswich, MA. Responsible for overseeing the operation of all farming activities including planning, managing, and tracking on all associated tasks. The initial focus will be on raising the existing hay fields to horse quality hay and establishing an onsite compositing operation(including horse manure).  We follow sustainable practices such as crop rotation, soil fertility management, natural fertilizers, IPM, and onsite composting. Other responsibilities will include helping with other small hobby projects around the farm such as: orchard, honey bees, laying hens, and maple syrup production.  The farm is evolving and growing and we are looking for someone to leverage his or her experience and ideas in our team environment. Communication skills, flexibility, and a can do attitude are critical.  We brainstorm, collaborate, and work as a team.  This is a year round salaried position with onsite housing provided.
