Farm Field Foraging Walk: Early Spring

Join Education Director Rebekah Carter to take a stroll around the farm fields and pastures to learn about the many wild edible and medicinal plants that can be commonly found on yards, farms, open lots, and fields throughout eastern Massachusetts and beyond. The program will focus on in-the-field plant identification, edible or medicinal properties, harvesting, and common uses and preparations. Bring a basket/vessel and scissors to collect samples or harvest a bit while you are here! Children ages 8 and up may be registered to attend with an adult! Tuition fee: $10 per person
