Home Composting Workshop

Join Education Director Rebekah Carter to learn about the fundamental science and components of a successful backyard compost system. This workshop will include discussing reasons to compost, carbon and nitrogen balance, common home composting structures and methods, and compost troubleshooting (including non-compostable items, pests, smells, slow decomposition, etc). Children ages 8 and up may be registered to attend with an adult! Tuition fee: $10 per person
