Who: A fun, engaging, and responsible garden-oriented person with outdoor education and/or childcare experience to run children’s programming for a small group of children, aged 4-8, in our children’s garden during Saturday sharer work hours. CORI and SORI check mandatory, along with strong references from jobs previously held in this field.

What: Leading a small group of 4-8 year old children in safe, low-key farm based/themed activities for two hours in our children’s garden and around the farm. You design/decide on safe, farm-themed activities!

When: Saturdays, 9:30 to 12:15. Children would be there between 10 and noon. First shift: Saturdays April 15th- - July 1st, second shift Saturdays September 2nd – October 7th, 2017. Preference given to candidates with availability for all dates.

Where: Stearns Farm CSA is a vibrant and beautiful little farm located in Framingham, MA. We have a Children’s Garden on the farm, along with herb, flower, and berry patches.

Compensation: Starts at $15 per hour, but negotiable for the right candidate. Also, veggies from the farm. If you have farm experience and the interest, there is the possibility of combining field work with this position (though your field work pay would be closer to $12/hour.)
