Newton, MA - Teachers for Summer 2017, Newton Community Farm

Newton Community Farm is hiring teachers for our summer 2017 youth programs.

With programs running from June 12th - August 25th, spend your summer educating children of all ages on the importance of local food systems, how nature provides for us and the treasures and delights that can be found on the farm through careful observation.

Each day spend time: digging, planting and weeding in the learning garden, harvesting produce, facilitating discussions and craft projects, preparing farm inspired healthy snacks, and assisting kids in setting up and managing their own farm stand.

Experience working with children is a must.
