Wayland farm seeks field crew, marketing help, other farmer

2 1/2 acre non-certified organic vegetable farm in Wayland hiring for the 2015 season.

Field crew
Owner/operator looking for part-time help from June through Sept or October, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for field work (includes transplanting, weeding, harvesting, greenhouse seeding).
Additional help needed Wednesday afternoons in Wayland and Saturday mornings in Roslindale for markets.
Willing to hire for any combination of times and days for the right person.  Fair amount of flexibility is possible in exchange for seasonal commitment and dedication to the work.
MUST HAVE SENSE OF HUMOR and ability to treat others with respect.  Work in all weather, lift heavy things, must have independent mode of transportation as farm is not accessible by MBTA.  Attention to detail very important.  Expect to work both independently and with others.  Rustic conditions but lovely location. Wages somewhat dependent upon experience but competitive.

For someone with more experience.....
The farm is adding an additional parcel this season with the potential for more.  For an experienced farmer in transition or someone wanting to help grow a business, the farm could offer an interesting opportunity to springboard another person with ideas and energy.  Contact me for further discussion.

Marketing
Also, looking for someone willing to take on managing the newsletter and recipes and possibly the website in exchange for a CSA share or a set fee.  Possibility for someone trying to build a portfolio or who just loves messing with photos and computers and text boxes.

Workshares are always available.
