Full Season Intern - Sunshine Farm

Sunshine Farm in Sherborn has a position for a full season farmer,grower,marketing person to join our highly diversified family farm. We grow 45 acres of all fruits and vegetables for our farm stand,CSA, PYO, and 3 farmers markets. Also 3 greenhouses for spring bedding plants and a ice cream stand. Person will work with assistant farmer to learn our operation. Daily watering greenhouse plants, field and tunnel planting, irrigation,weeding, plant care. Morning harvest and wash and pack for CSA and markets. Would also help sell at markets when needed. Some light tractor possible for the right person after other tasks are learned well. Must be able to lift 50lbs and work outside in all weather. We are a small family farm with a 4 to 5 person field crew. One year experience on a farm or education. Trade skills helpfull as we do everything ourselves. Clean driving record and reliable transportation. 40 hours a week May 1 through October 31,2017.  $12-$14 hr depending on experience.
