Field Crew, Brigham Farm, Concord MA

Brigham Farm in Concord Massachusetts needs three seasonal workers.  This is a 6th- generation family farm, currently cultivating 16 acres, growing sweet corn, strawberries, and various vegetables.  Work involves retail sales at Farmers Markets and at our farm stand, weeding and harvesting vegetables, and light tractor work.  Qualifications are a cheerful disposition, high energy, and nimble fingers.

Work is available from May through October, full-time or part-time.  New hires must be able to start by late June.  We need at least one person who can stay through the end of September.  (Timing works well for a “gap year” before, during or after college.)  We will consider one or two persons returning to school in late August.    No housing available.  Contact Charles Poutasse, cpoutasse@comcast.net, 978-369-2219 (leave message if no one picks up).
