Farm/Orchard Manager

Stillman’s Farm is seeking a full time Farm and orchard manager for our diverse fruit and vegetable farm in Central Massachusetts. Specific duties will involve overseeing all aspects of small fruits and orchard production. Other duties may include assisting with cultivation and harvest of a multitude of vegetable crops, organizing CSA packing and pickup, loading market trucks, seeding or transplanting in the greenhouses or fields, deliveries of plants and produce, and possibly attending a farmers’ market or CSA delivery.

Knowledge of equipment, crop pests, pruning, spray programs, soils, harvesting, and storage is preferred. Understanding of small greens production would be a bonus and could replace the requested knowledge about orchards. Some experience required, BUT, more importantly, is an eagerness and ability to learn.

Candidates must be physically fit have a strong work ethic and be mentally able. This is a challenging job but rewarding with lots of possibilities for growth. A great attitude and ability to work with others are a must. The ability to work closely with the owners and desire to grow with the farm is essential. This job is ideal for someone looking to settle down and become part of the Stillman's team for several years or  more.

Position starts at $600/week and free access to amazing fruits and vegetables.
