Facilities Manager Position at Farm at Woods Hill, Bath, NH

Farm at Woods Hill is a 265-acre farm in the hills of Western New Hampshire near the Ammonoosuc River in Bath. The farm is owned by the Canty family who also own and operate Woods Hill Table, a restaurant in Concord, MA. The farm grows most of the pork, chicken, eggs, and beef for the restaurant. All animals on the farm are pastured, rotationally grazed, and treated humanely. Any grain fed on the farm is organic or non-GMO. The farm could potentially grow other products for the restaurant in the future.  We are currently starting a mushroom program and there are extensive fruit bushes and apple trees. Some foraging for the restaurant will be done in the spring including spruce tips, ramps, and fiddleheads. The farm has a big garden every year for the enjoyment of guests, farmers, owners, with some produce like garlic going to the restaurant.

Besides being a working farm, we are also the location of the Lodge at Woods Hill, which is a beautiful post and beam cabin for rental. The main farmhouse on the property is called the Inn at Woods Hill where the Farm Manager and the new Facilities Manager live in completely separate living quarters. The Inn also has 6 upstairs bedrooms that are empty and will be rented out through Air BnB to guests who will be allowed to use the downstairs kitchen and parlor. At some point it might become a real bed and breakfast.
